Rooting into Rest

3 November 2024 | 10am – 2pm

Taking place around the time of Samhain, the Celtic festival that marks the beginning of winter, this change in season invites us to settle into a slower, more gentle rhythm with ourselves, to turn our attention inwards and tend to our inner selves.

Drawing on somatic movement practices, gentle yoga, embodied enquiries, ritual and poetry, we will journey down into the felt sense of our bodies, attuning to the language of instinct and intuition and listening to the feminine wisdom deep inside our bones. In the spirit of Samhain, we will invite the shedding of old patterns and limiting beliefs that no longer serve us, making space to call in for ourselves kinder, more gentle ways of relating to ourselves.

We will also support the settling of our nervous systems to bring us into a place of restoration and deep rest, as well as deepening our awareness of what brings joy and nourishment to our bodies.

It is my hope that this half day retreat will offer you the nourishment of renewed connection with your body and the medicine of gathering together within a circle of women. You will be offered somatic resources and guided meditation recordings to support you in your daily life.

This retreat takes place at 4 Tuckey Street, Cork, a beautiful soul space in the heart of Cork City. Tea and nourishing snacks included.

Booking is essential. Please note, purchases are non-refundable.
